Cradle Carry

Step 1:

After putting your sling on, find the 2 outer rails of the sling.  The area between is where your baby will be carried.  Make sure the inner rail, or the rail closer to you is pulled up snuggly against your body creating a pouch for your baby.

Ring Sling Step

Step 2:

Pick your baby up and cradle him/her in your arms.  Then, gently slide their bottom & legs down into the sling first.  Make sure your baby is in the pouch securely and positioned properly.  As an infant, please position your child so that they can breathe correctly in a semi-reclining position.  A good rule of thumb is to be able to put 2 fingers underneath their chin.  If you can not do so, you need to reposition your infant so that they can get enough oxygen.  Sometimes, it helps to place a small receiving blanket or burp cloth in the sling having it start at the base of your child's neck down to their back.  If you have any questions on infant safety while wearing, please contact me!

Step 3:

Adjust the pouch to where it fits snuggly and your child is secure.  Always keep a hand on your baby while loosening or tightening the sling to ensure safety! The below images show two different cradle positions:
