Sizing Details

SizingSizing for a ring sling is sometimes tricky as it’s basically centered around how long you like your sling tail to hang down on you. I’m an average size person and about 5’5” and can wear anywhere from an x-small to an x-large!!! It just depends on how long I want my sling. J I have found the easiest way to figure out what size you may like is to use a soft measuring tape. Start at your left shoulder and loosely measure diagonally across the front of your body to the top of your right hip (see picture). Times that measurement by 2. Next, start at your left shoulder and measure how far down your leg you’d like to have the tail of your sling to hang. Add that measurement to your previous measurement. This should give you an idea of the total length of ring sling you want. (Please keep in mind that if you are planning to use the cradle position, you may want to add a few inches to your final measurement total as that carry takes the most amount of fabric.) If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me as I’d be more than happy to help you with sizing!
